Rating guide
Two separate kinds of ratings
Editor ratings are entered by our editors on a scale of 0–10. Content that has not been assessed is marked “Not rated”; no score is generated automatically.
User ratings are submitted on detail pages on a scale of 1–10. We display the actual average and number of ratings. A visitor who rates again updates their previous rating rather than adding another one. We identify repeat submissions using a signed-in account or a one-way hash of network and browser information. This is not identity verification.
A recommendation does not guarantee a ranking
“Editor’s picks” means an entry was selected by an editor. It does not replace your own assessment of a destination website’s content, services or costs.
